Showcase of Graduating Seniors

New Studio Theater

Senior Showcase is an annual event for graduatiing seniors to present their work to a large variety of local theaters, talent agencies, and casting directors. Each spring more than sixty director, producers, and agents attend to see students perform the two and three person scenes they have rehearsed for months, and to view portfolios from the design, directing, and stage management students. Columbia faculty members are highly involved in coaching the students and helping them present their best material to the professional world. Each ytear, Senior Showcase results in graduates being cast in or designing for theaters all over Chicago, and many are signed to agencies that represent talent in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and beyond.
