The new Content Management System (the "CMS", also known as Collage) has been
put in place, and the new website is up and running.
A new homepage has been introduced, as well as a new site-wide navigation bar -- web authors with pages that don't display the new button bar should contact the webmaster team for assistance.
To streamline our email communications, announcement messages will
now be split into two main categories: Events and Announcements.
Events will be displayed on the Calendar
of Events and distributed weekly via
the Events
newsletter, moderated by Institutional Marketing staff. The
Columbia-Announcements mailing
list will only distribute messages relevant to the entire college community.

The college's website search has been switched to Google.
A Contact Us link has been added to the sidebar of all template based pages.
The main webserver's ftp system has been updated -- departmental webmasters
that continue to have difficulty updating webpages should contact the
webmaster team.
