Consciousness involves the unfolding of self as inner observer and the evolution of knowing. As sentient beings, we journey through life while memories create reality, and this noetic process illuminates our world. As therapists, we are invited and engaged in our clients' narratives and the work performed here focuses on this journey and the relationship between the client and therapist as well as between self and self.

Letterpress Print Your own Handmade Paper!

Conaway Center, Floor 1 – 1104 South Wabash Avenue

Join students from Book and Paper Arts as they demonstrate the fine art of papermaking and letterpress printing. Students will make handmade sheets of paper using a method that originated in 105 A.D and letterpress print the sheet in a clamshell printing press. Not quite the Guttenberg press, but equally beautiful! Cold and rainy? Come and make paper and print on the second floor of 1104 South Wabash Avenue!

Dogwomen mix a Jewish circle dance with modern choreography, combining movement, Diane DiPrima's poetry, Native American folklore, and music to explore ideas of buoyancy and compression. You can also catch Dogwomen at a second location, the sidewalk in front of 618 South Michigan Avenue.
