Course Description: Management for the Independent Film Industry*

This class aims at introducing graduate students to the fundamentals of management within the independent film industry, an overview of many factors that a manager in this industry will face. Some of these factors include: brand building, union and non-union members, film makers, programming, internet marketing as well as successful business writing. The ways in which these issues are delt with are unique to the independent film industry and vital to your success as a manager within this industry.
