Graduate Arts Entrepreneurship I

This course will explore the historical underpinnings of entrepreneurship and arts entrepreneurship. This course introduces the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship in the arts and the process of creative problem solving. Entrepreneurial case studies will demonstrate the challenges arts entrepreneurs face regularly. Students will use an entrepreneurial simulation exercise and create an entrepreneurial action plan. Creative versus critical thinking problem definition and opportunity delineation and creation are explained.
