This class focuses on the stages of development and developmental tasks in the life cycle with special focus on toddlers through adulthood. Students examine the life cycle from various perspectives, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social. Discussions will also focus on how we construct/determine ideas of 'normal' and 'pathological' development. Throughout the course attention will be paid to how genetic and environmental factors influence development with an emphasis on the impact of culture and creativity.
Course descriptions are stored in OASIS and are maintained by the Associate Dean for each School.
