This course will help students develop decision making skills which can be applied in a variety of e-business settings. Lectures will be supplemented with readings about the legal, technical and economic issues involved in succesfully integrating e-commerce into a business or arts organization. Guest lecturers will join the class to share their experiences in managing the e-business aspects of their organizations. Through lectures, readings and case studies, students will gain insight into the process of deciding how, when and whether to add an on-line element to an organization, and the challenges and opportunities having a web presence creates for arts, entertainment and media managers.
