This course is for graduate and undergraduate students in the Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management (AEMM) Department and undergraduates in the Television Department. It provides a historical overview of the television broadcasting business, tracing its development from an audio (telephone/radio) medium into a complex visual medium and examines some of the primary issues confronting the industry today.
