Course Description: Research Seminar: The Mechanics of Thesis Writing

This seminar assits the student with thesis research, writing , and -ultimately- development of Thesis Proposal/Brief with proposed Thesis Statement and Thesis Title. The seminar consists of lecture, discussion, and independent research. The student will be introduced to research methods and structural frameworks for thesis writing. At the end of this five-week course, the candidate is required to formally present his/her thesis topic. For the candidate to continue to Semester V, he/she must have written approval from the Research Seminar faculty committee.
The OASIS system is maintained by the IT department. Course data is maintained by the Office of the Provost, Academic Affairs, and corresponding schools and programs.
