This course immerses the student in a design problem specific to Adaptive Reuse. Under the supervision of the instructor, the student develops a project from the Preliminary Design Phase through to the creation of a partial set of Construction Documents. At this point in the candidate's matriculation, he/she is expected to understand the Design Process and architecture and design nomenclature. The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of sustainability, building systems, and construction methods utilized in the built environmnet as it pertains to Adaptive Reuse.
