Design Studio III: The Built Environment

25-6501

This course establishes the student's focus towards a selected track. The studio project type is a Mixed-Use typology and is approached in a general manner (specificity is addressed in the track-specific Design Studio III Lab). This studio emphasizes design nomenclature and the systems, methods, and models utilized to imagine and construct the built environment. All phases of the Design Process are experienced by the student, which enforces awareness that the Design Process is a three-dimensional response to the programmatic requirements of a client's environmental needs.

The OASIS system is maintained by the IT department. Course data is maintained by the Office of the Provost, Academic Affairs, and corresponding schools and programs.
