This Lab will facilitate the student's understanding of the design field, and will provide a framework through teaching of theories and principals pertinent to the field. This framework will enable the student to move throughout the curriculum with a point of reference, historically and aesthetically. The class will be focused towards the essential elements of form, space and the ordering principals. Through assignments, exercises, and projects directly related to Design Studio I, students will obtain and develop a foundation in design principles and design vocabulary, both visual and verbal.
The OASIS system is maintained by the IT department. Course data is maintained by the Office of the Provost, Academic Affairs, and corresponding schools and programs.
