This class will concentrate on the history & practice of sustainability as it relates to the built environment. This class will have readings from general environment theorists, design practitioners, environmental biologists, cultural anthropologists, etc. A body of knowledge will be developed in order to influence decisions as the student matriculates through the curriculum. Students will become familiar with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification as perscribed by th USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council).
The OASIS system is maintained by the IT department. Course data is maintained by the Office of the Provost, Academic Affairs, and corresponding schools and programs.
