This course will analyze the role ethnic media - newspapers, radio and television stations play in Chicago and the United States. Students will develop an understanding of the diversity of ethnic media. They will analyze ethnic news media coverage and compare it with mainstream media coverage. Students also will report and write about and for various ethnic media outlets. Pre-requisites as Reporting and Writing I OR by Permission of Instructor
