Course Description: Music Radio Broadcasting I

Music Radio Broadcasting I

The first part of this entry-level course provides hands-on use and practice in operating a radio control board, using automated radio program software and related studio equipment. You will learn playback and recording, and basic board operator responsibilities, including station log requirements, FCC operator rules, microphone use, radio formats, and terminology. The second part of this course focuses on the performance experience of an on-air host at a music radio station. This includes writing and performing live and recorded assignments and developing your personal on-air style in a studio classroom.
