This introductory course is designed to give students the necessary skills required to become proficient in the art of club DJing. Students will learn how to, match beats with two different records, mix, scratch and use standard trade equipment such as: turntables, compact discs players, speakers and microphones. To be successful in this course, students will be expected to participate in class and practice at least two to three hours per week outside of class.
