Voice Training for the Actor II is a continuation of Voice Training for the Actor I. A more proficient use of the techniques for respiration, phonation, resonation, projection and articulation are explored. Skills in pronunciation and variety and expression are introduced. Technical knowledge is demonstrated in contemporary and classical monologues from theatrical repertoire. Students learn a vocal warm-up, record, memorize and perform. An extended study of voice and speech for the stage is addressed in a text chosen for the course.
Course descriptions are stored in OASIS and are maintained by the Associate Dean for each School.
