International Perspectives in Cultural Entrepreneurship

This course is designed to generate understanding and knowledge of how cultural industries function in Asia and South America. The 2010 J-term trip will focus on Panama City, Panama. Students will engage in seminars and workshops presented by cultural entrepreneurs in Panama City in their place of business. Students will be immersed in the local nuances and culture in order to gain perspectives that they can translate into skill sets that they would need to become successful cultural entrepreneurs.
