The Center for Book and Paper Arts is located on the 2nd floor of the Ludington Building at 1104 South Wabash Ave. in Chicago. We are in the block between 11th Street and Roosevelt Road on the west side of the street in an historic white terra cotta building. Google Map | Picture and Information

Also, as a low-cost alternative, we have arranged shared suites at the University Center - a new dormitory building which also acts as a conference center. The accomodations would be in a Quad Semi Suite (Check-in: Friday, June 8th 2007, 3 pm through check-out Sunday, June 10th 2007, 10 am)

(*) Two bedrooms with two beds each sharing a semi-private bath. Bedrooms include extra long twin bed, desk with chair, bookshelves and closet with organizer for each guest. Room rates include one meal per day, in the dining center. This will be a group meal. Possibly a Friday lunch, Saturday & Sunday breakfast.

Getting Here
CTA El Trains: The nearest CTA El stops are Roosevelt on the Red, Green, and Orange lines.

Parking: Parking is available half a block south of the Center for $6.00 - $10.00. There is also Allright Parking on the east side of Wabash one block north of the Center. An indoor parking garage is around the corner on 11th Street between Wabash and State Streets. Street parking is possible, although you may have to hunt a bit for it and beware of no parking times as towing is rampant.

From Midway Airport: Take the Orange line El train to Roosevelt. Walk east on Roosevelt to the end of the block and turn left (north) on Wabash. We are at 1104 S. Wabash on the second floor. If you choose to take a taxi, expect to pay about $20.00 - $25.00.

From O'Hare Airport: Take the Blue line El train to the Jackson stop. Transfer to the Red line El train going south toward 95th. Get off at Roosevelt and walk north on State to the end of the block. Turn right (east) on 11th Street. Walk to the end of the block to Wabash, turn right (south) and you are here. We're on the second floor. If you choose to take a taxi, expect to pay about $30.00 - $40.00.
