Scott Smith

Scott Smith is a futurist with Social Technologies, a leading international futures research and consulting firm based in Washington, DC. At Social Technologies, Scott has responsibility for leading global consulting projects and custom research for firms representing a broad spectrum of industries, from consumer technologies to transportation to consumer packaged goods. He also oversees creation of new research tools to help his colleagues and clients better organize and communicate important indicators of global change. His key interests are in pervasive computing and in the social and economic change its emergence is driving.
